Coroner identifies cause of death for Campbellsville University student found unresponsive in dorm

The Taylor County coroner has identified the cause of death for a Campbellsville University student found unresponsive in a dorm room.According to the coroner, Josiah Kilman, 18, died from manual strangulation.Video in the player above is from the day Kilman died. Police say Kilman was found unresponsive in a dorm room just before 1 a.m. on Saturday.He was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he died.On Saturday evening, Kentucky State Police and Green County police arrested Charles Escalera, 21, after an arrest warrant was issued.They said they received a call about a suspicious person in a barn on the Taylor and Green County line.Escalera is being held at the Taylor County Detention Center.He faces murder charges for the death of Kilman.

The Taylor County coroner has identified the cause of death for a Campbellsville University student found unresponsive in a dorm room.

According to the coroner, Josiah Kilman, 18, died from manual strangulation.

Police say Kilman was found unresponsive in a dorm room just before 1 a.m. on Saturday.

He was taken to Taylor Regional Hospital, where he died.

On Saturday evening, Kentucky State Police and Green County police arrested Charles Escalera, 21, after an arrest warrant was issued.
