Healthcare cloud solutions have become much more sophisticated, reliable, and easier to connect. At the HIMSS 2024 conference, we moderated a panel hosted by Rackspace Technology and Dell Technologies with healthcare multicloud experts and former CIOs who shared the benefits and challenges of implementing and integrating multicloud solutions in healthcare. Plus, they discussed how these models can evolve and adapt as the needs of healthcare change over time including how you can simplify your efforts to support multicloud and all of the AI solutions coming to healthcare.

We also looked at the value proposition of multicloud EHR hosting including the benefits of improved uptime, service management, and easier connections to other Tier 1 clinical applications. In addition, the panel explored the cybersecurity challenges associated with multicloud and how healthcare organizations can benefit from proximity to things like public cloud hyperscalers while still operating in a secure way on private infrastructure.
