SpaceX launched a Falcon 9 rocket carrying 22 Starlink internet satellites headed to low-Earth orbit on Monday evening, much to the awe of many San Diegans.
The rocket was sent off from Vandenberg Space Force Base, located in Santa Barbara County.
The launch was originally planned for last Thursday (March 28) but was postponed several days due to the wet weather.
The rocket launch could be seen from across San Diego County on April 1, 2024.
